History

Today's U19 Champions Trophy has become known originally as the "Easter Tournament" of BV 04 Dusseldorf.

In the early years the tournament served primarily for international understanding, however, now it has grown into a highly professional competition with international and national top clubs.

The tournament as "Nokia Debitel Cup" was lifted to a new level a few years ago. From then on, the top clubs from home and abroad with their exceptional talents each year were an integral part of the great Easter Tournament.

Meanwhile, the event had established the extent that the organizers in the selection of participants field were spoiled for choice.
